Everything is in the Voice

OK so here is the deal, i just just came across this young lady, who was recently on Oprah, all i can say is check it out for yourself, I believe her voice is amazing and as a listener i got lost in everything this song has to offer, as if my soul was singing the words saying the same exact thing. I feel she is very talented and will be someone to look out for in the near future. oh for the record her name is Charice and she is seventeen years of age, but with the voice she possesses you would never believe it. Enjoy and i hope by this she can gain a few more fans, before she catches the world by storm. This is also her first official single off her upcoming debut album which is currently untitled. Just follow the link.

Back on That B.S

Busta Rhymes is Entertainment....

Recently i was given the oppurtunity to go see the man himself, Busta Rhymes in concert. This would be my second time getting a chance to experience a Busta show. The difference from this show and the previous show, was that this show was strictly Busta and Spliff Starr. If you've been under a rock and your not a fan of busta, one of his concerts will change that. Realizing he has many more songs he could have preformed and kept the crowd hyped keeps you on edge the whole concert, unlike most artist you can't predict his show or the direction in which he chooses to go. The similarities in both shows however was the splashing of water during Ante up and ending the show getting hit with sprays of Champane. If your not going to perticipate in the activites going on, for example if he says bounce or put a hand up, then don't stand near the stadge. He splashed this one girl that didn't want to bounce with water with no demise. Not only is Busta Rhymes a phenominal performer he is one of the most consistant artist in Hip-Hop. As he stated at the end of the concert, that he is celebrating his Twentieth year professionally recording in the music industry. The Title of his upcoming CD titled "Back on My B.S" perfectly fits what it is that he is doing. For those that can't wait til Tuesday to go buy their copies of this cd, i suggest that you find a copy of his mixtape "Feeding the streets" with Superstar Jay. Busta does his thing to several of the new songs out that his pairs are on. One of my favorites is the intro feat. Maino, because this sets the tone for the rest of the mixtape, as Maino shows that hunger and Busta matches it perfectly. But also go out and get that Back on my B.S tuesday.

Peep Game Vol.1

I would like to take this time to explain that every so often i will put the spotlight on new artist or new songs that i run across that i think will be a good listen for you and yours.

For starters I want to suggest everyone to take a listen to Lee Carr, i've been recently listening to his music he has a sound that I believe can bring him mainstream. I'm writing this listing to his song Breathe and several other songs i believe will prove to you the listener that he has what it takes to be the next big R&B artist. Other songs by him worth listening to are "Never Let You Go", " 2 Late", "Lost it all","You" which has a melody reminicen to Micheal Jacksons "Free Willy intro" and "Patron" which features clever bars from Yung Joc, who in the future i will also post something on him as i believe he is progressing as a rapper lyrical at leaps and bounds. Not to deter off the trail of what I want to present you with, definatley if you can check Lee Carr. tell me what you think if you disagree or agree.

I must admitt that im not the biggest Mike Jones fan, but i must say this CD shows his growth as an artist. Although he begins the cd like he finished his first, giving out his number and screaming out who Mike Jones. He really went to work on this cd, and its a complete cd. From top to bottom, he gives the listners and fans of music something that i can't say has been seen in hip-hop in a long while. He shows consistancy and i can easily find eight to nine songs on this cd as individual singles, which is amazing knowing that its a six-teen track cd. Like i previously stated I was never a mike jones fan but if he can keep this consistancy and growth coming on his next cd he will gain a fan and many more. My favorite songs off the cd are "Next To YOu", "I Know"(feat. Trey Songz) and "Scandalous Hoes II" (Feat. T-pain). so if you get a chance support this man and buy his cd, you won't regret it even in a recession.

Introduction to Me

Well hello, and welcome to iblog.com. For starters i would like to explain to you who i am, and what my blogging will be about. I'm an avid fan of Basketball and Music mutually, to the point where i have intense heated arguments with some of my friends. But i also have a lot of life experiences which opens up my views on certain life situations that most might not see. With that said depending on my moods or what captures my interest the most i will be covering Music, From up and coming artist, album reviews or what i think about certain artist at the time. I will also touch on Sports, mainly basketball for the simple fact i love that sport the most, although i do have knowledge in other sports and i might express my feelings in such from time to time. And life, how i see things in views from my surroundings and whats common sense for me isn't always common sense for most. With that written i will give you well thought out conclusions with solid reasoning. Thanks and I hope you enjoy all the future blogs to come.
